About Me

I am a working mom to three children (ages 6, 11, 13) with more than 20 years of experience and expertise as a nonprofit leader and urban planner in economic and community development.
I’ve devoted my professional career to working with businesses, community and faith-based organizations, foundations, researchers, and municipalities and government agencies at the local, state and federal levels to address complex challenges including hunger, homelessness, housing and poverty.
A life-long community volunteer, I am a former board member of NETWorks Cooperative Ministry, founder of the Tucker Housing Coalition and member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Tucker.
I’m proud of the work we’ve done together to make Tucker a stronger, more inclusive, transparent and responsive city. Over the past 3.5 years serving on the city council, I’ve listened, collaborated and led with purpose–always focused on the values and priorities our community has voiced.
I will continue fighting for changes that strengthen our community and will continue providing the energized, inclusive and bold leadership needed so that Tucker can flourish and thrive.
Thank you for your support!
